Day 1 Pics . . . The Mall & Capitol Building

The day I arrived in Washington was absolutely gorgeous, allowing for this picture of the sky behind the Washington Monument. We (my roommate and I) spent the afternoon at the Natural History Museum and then meandered down the mall toward the Capitol Building. It's a stunning structure although it shows its sign of age in the rusted statuary.
