Washington pics

The Korean War Memorial has two parts: a column of soldiers going through the fields (wearing ponchos per the very rainy weather that was experienced for much of the war) and a wall of faces that stare out at you. It's very unique and pulls you in, as the faces appear to be staring out at you from the past.

Other pictures are of sunset over the Lincoln Memorial, the American flag on the Smithsonian Castle, and the Jefferson Memorial. On the Castle, I was trying to go for a patriotic, dramatic shot. The flag was heavily flapping around in the wind. I also thought the sunset offered a cool shot of the Lincoln Memorial. The Jefferson Memorial had constraints as the building was under renovation and scaffolding obscured most of the clear pictures. You can just see the statue of Jefferson (and the scaffolding) between the columns.
