Among other things, on my recent trip to Hungary, I was able to have fun with my new digital camera. I started learning about the different settings (night, backlight, no flash, auto flash, etc.). At first, I used primarily the automatic setting. But I was getting a number of darkened photos, so I started experimenting with the different settings. In the parliament building, I worked with turning off the flash to try to get some better pictures.

I think it's fun. I'm looking forward to getting around to the exposure settings, practicing the burst setting (multiple pictures in succession), and attempting some more "sky" pictures - moon/sunset.
