Indoor Soccer

We finished up our indoor soccer regular season last night. It's been a cool time. Indoor soccer is a different type of game; it was neat to get up to speed in that new setting and see our team come along throughout the year. We finished in the bottom part of the table but had good results in our last three games. There were a couple of cool blessings. One was to appreciate and realize the opportunity for toughness. Indoor soccer is a more physical, expect a few hacks type of game. You have to play very competitively. And that was good. And the second was the chance to see these really talented players. All of them had played in college, and their skills were really an inspiration. I had never really seen players of such class up close, and so it was neat to see that bar set higher and be able to have a new focus for your own game.
